Ο Geoffrey φέτος μας έδωσε ευχές πασχαλινές από την Ύδρα !
Με φόντο τα γραφικά σπιτάκια, τις ταβέρνες,
τη θάλασσα και υπό τους ήχους των κυμάτων και των καϊκιών.

Αυτό ήταν το "στημένο" σκηνικό που σκηνοθέτησαν για τον πρωθυπουργό μιας χώρας
υπό οικονομική κρίση, οι διάνοιες που πληρώνουμε για να τον συμβουλεύουν.
Αυτή είναι εικόνα που δίνει κουράγιο στους Έλληνες
και μεταδίδει αξιοπιστία στο εξωτερικό για την ελληνική οικονομία.
Το παιδί γύρισε από την Ύδρα με το δελφίνι,
ενώ στο νησί πήγε με έναν ολόκληρο στρατό
ανδρών ασφαλείας που στην κυριολεξία "κατέλαβαν" το νησί.
Τα χειρότερα όμως δεν είναι αυτά.
Το χειρότερο από όλα είναι πόσο πολύ αταίριαστη
είναι η εικόνα του Geoffrey με την παραδοσιακή Ελλάδα
που υπάρχει πίσω του, έστω και με αυτά τα γραφικά σπιτάκια.
Πόσο "ξένος" δείχνει μέσα σε αυτό το περιβάλλον.
Πόσο τουρίστας δείχνει.
Πόσο μη Έλλην, με ό,τι συνεπάγεται αυτό ...
Το τί συνεπάγεται θα το δούμε σιγά σιγά.
Από μια σκοπιά βέβαια, ευτυχώς που δεν τον πήγαν στη Μύκονο
να μας στείλει ευχές για την οικονομία υπό τους ήχους του David Morales ...
Πάλι καλά !

Who would have thought that, Nick Papandreou who has already published a couple of interesting books and is a very promising author, may have anything in common with Henryk Sienkiewicz. The first Polish Nobel prize winner in literature (Sienkiewicz) wrote many interesting novels, but is mostly known for his "Quo Vadis". Henryk Sienkiewicz's mother in law was Wanda Mineyko, and Nick's grandmother was Sophia Mineyko, both from the same family...
